That’s a statement I often send to recovering addicts or post on their social media pages. But, isn’t it a good reminder for us all that life is worth fighting for and we need to just make good choices to fight better?
I tell them to stay humble and fight the good fight instead of trying to be right or fight for their own rights.
I say: “Lead your family by example and quickly admit when you are wrong. It will serve you well to do so.”
Isn’t that the truth for us all?
So, for today fight the good fight.
And when you get up tomorrow, do it all over again.
Then, again and again until the day you hear:
“Well done, my good and faithful servant…enter in to the kingdom I have prepared for you.” *
And remember, life is a race. Run it well, but more importantly, live it well till the end and be able for this to come to pass …
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for His appearing.” I Timothy 4.7-8
Keep fighting the good fight so you can…
