too good not to share

Happy New Year’s Eve Eve.

I came across this* and tweaked it a little. I thought it was so cleverly written it needed to be more widely shared…

“Hello, welcome to Flight #2019.

We are preparing to take off into the New Year.

Please make sure your attitude and blessings are secured and locked in an upright position.

All self-destructive devices should be turned off at this time.

All negativity, hurt, and discouragement should be stowed away.

During the flight, should we lose altitude under pressure, reach up and pull down a prayer. Prayers will automatically be activated by faith. Once your faith is activated you can assist other passengers.

There will be NO BAGGAGE allowed on this flight so leave it all behind.

God, our Captain, has cleared us for takeoff.

Destination greatness here we come!

Enjoy your flight and do travel the friendly skies again. But, please remember you are the co-pilot so you are never alone. However, we recommend you sit back, relax, and let Jesus take the wheel.”

In doing so, you will…

You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” Ephesians 4.22-24
